Weight is Holding Steady

No more weight loss this week so far. But I haven't worked out since Saturday.

I was starving last night and kind of "binged" but not too terribly. My binges lately have been light. I used to binge on chips and candy and bad stuff. Last night I started with two pieces of toasted wheat bread with butter. Then I drank water and waited to see if I was satisfied.

Still hungry, I then re-heated some leftover Salsa Chicken from the other night and added a dollop of sour cream and ate it with some corn tortilla chips.

Still hungry, I ate two bite size snickers and a candy cane. Then an apple.

I managed to stay within my calorie range even though I over ate. I just get really hungry at night sometimes. But I drank a lot of water in between and didn't gain any weight. Thank God!

This morning I woke up and ate my oatmeal. That has filled me up. It is now almost 2:30 and I'm not hungry for lunch. I may just eat an orange and wait until dinner. I hate that I am on this late night schedule but it could be worse.

I have a meeting tomorrow at 10 am so I can't stay up as late tonight. I will be up at 7 and working out by 7:30. I have to do my official weigh in tomorrow too. I am so far 1/2 pound up from last Wednesday. That sucks but it could be worse. With me each little progress is a good thing.

I so relate to this dieting crap we put ourselves through. I've been trying to "binge" on things like lemon water, black licorice, pretzels (low calorie crap).

I just really need to drink more red wine, stay totally drunk, and then I won't feel so fat or ever feel like I have a low self esteem; not ever again. :D

Ha Ha Ha!! Just staying drunk.. hmmmmm... I wonder if I could get away with that. I doubt it.. lol

I need to find a battery for my scale, it has some weird funky size that looks like a huge watch battery. I am sure I have been losing weight my clothes are all trying to fall off. I swear if I didn't keep tugging my jeans up I would lose them completely. Of course I'm happy even though I know its stress. I need to lose so much weight noone could tell, but I know...

I know what you mean. I finally have reached the point now that I'm about a year and a half out of my gastric by-pass surgery where I'm only losing maybe a pound a week if I'm lucky. The first week after the surgery, I lost 20lbs! That was so cool. All in all so far, I've lost over 165lbs...so I can't complain. You're in a good habit with drinking lots of water. It's good for you and flushes out your system too. I'll see ya over at js sis! Love ya!

It sure makes a difference to drink lots of water, doesn't it? Keep up the good work. Sometimes you reach a plateau, but don't give up. Hugs.

I need to start watching my diet. I have put on so much weight in the last year. Everyone keeps telling me it's because I got married.

I remember the best I ever felt (it's been a long time...:) was when I drank nothing but water, no cokes or anything. I looked good, I felt good and now I drink nothing but Dr. Pepper. :(

Hey Greeneyes, long time no talk! Its maniebuhr from JS! Glad to see you on here. I too have started dieting, I have that not so attractive beer belly guys tend to get LOL So far 6 pounds in a week and a half. I should drink more water but I really do hate it LOL Been meaning to start excersizing but hard to find the time. Glad things are going well for you :)
