Breakfast

Do you eat breakfast? You know, I was stuck at a weight for a couple of months and couldn't budge past it. I was working out 3 to 4 times a week and nothing was changing.

I started eating breakfast regularly and cutting calories and the weight is coming off now. It's amazing how it's helped!! It kick starts your metabolism for the day. I stay more full throughout the day so I am less likely to binge and it's working!! Sometimes I have to force myself to eat though, I am used to coffee and a cigarette in the morning.

This morning I had oatmeal which I have grown to love for the taste and the nutritional value and it actually gives me energy. I get up and drink water, then I work out. Then I eat my oatmeal. Now I am getting ready to begin my day for real. I spend a couple of hours reading online and creating my meal plan for the day.

Today we are going to start a store on Ebay to start selling jewelry. I hope it's not too complicated. I have never done it before.

I need to start eating breakfast. I know when I used to eat it I had lost weight too.

That sounds like a great routine you've got there! Although having breakfast is a good thing to do, I have a hrad time doing it.

Actually, I only eat dinner and maybe a snack. But, since I cut out all sugars, I lost a lot of weight. i missed you! *hugs*

Oatmeal is fantastic when it comes to losing weight. I ate it for breakfast religiously when I had lost 80lbs. I've since switched to Special K. I'm a junkie when it comes to that cereal.

I'll have to try Special K. I've never had it. Is it sweet? I love the brown sugar in the oatmeal, does wonders for my sweet tooth :) Way to go on the 80 pounds!! That's fantastic.

I love a hot bowl of oatmeal for breakfast. Have you tried substituting your favorite juice (not citrus) for the water, and adding other dried fruit? My fav is apple cider, cranberries, cinnamon, and a little sugar. Good stuff maynard!

at home I never eat breakfast, but here my dad spoils me with ham and scrambled eggs every dad! I love it!

I try to eat something. They say that even one ounce of cheese will help.

I found the Fiber One bars, oh are they awesome!! Totally curbs hunger and sweet tooth, plus packs a whole lot of fiber which keeps ya full. :-)


Ebay can be a pain at first, but it gets easier once you navigate it a bit. Make sure to check out what other people have done, it really helps!!

Being a diabetic, I have to force myself to eat breakfast. I find it hard to eat that early in the morning, so I usually have something when I get to work. Glad the weight's coming off. Sounds like you're trying to be healthier, so that's always good. Maybe you can be my motivation? lol. Hugs.

I am the most hungry when I wake up in the morning so I always eat breakfast.I usually eat yogurt but this morning I had a big bowl of sugar free maple syrup and brown sugar oatmeal:) I need to get back on track with my eating right.

Chocolate is evil though and I cant go a day without it.I probably could if I would stop buying it..lol..but seriously it is a huge addiction that I just can not seem to kick.

I eat breakfast pretty much every morning...my recent weight gain is all about my indulgences - sweets and booze. I must give them up as about half my wardrobe no longer fits..even my fat clothes are tight...boohoo!!!

Xanadu: I'll be your inspiration! You need to be sure and eat something being diabetic. That has to be hard. We have a few breakfast eaters here! That's a good thing. It's new to me but I'm likin' it. It's making me lose weight. Yay!!!

Healthier in 2009 is my goal.

I always eat breakfast. I had t break the cereal habit when I went low-carb but I do love the steel-cut oats. Add some almonds and Splenda and yum! They now have brown sugar Splenda too.

my trainer was just bitching @ me today for not eating breakfast. it's gonna be a hard habit to get into; but, i'ma give it a try.
